A Town of Oneonta man is facing multiple charges for passing a bad check. The Otsego County Sheriff’s Department says 21-year-old Scott Sieger attempted to use a forged check to purchase a vehicle in the Town of Oneonta. Sieger was taken into custody last Wednesday and charged with first degree forgery, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal impersonation. He is free on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
