State Trooper & 2 Civilians Try To Save Bald Eagle

A New York State Trooper along with 2 other men tried to save a bald eagle that was hit Monday on I-88 in Sidney. In a Facebook post, State Police reported the eagle was hit by a vehicle’s side-view mirror. The driver did stop after hitting the eagle. It was taken to a wildlife center by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation but it did not survive the injuries.
