A Smithville Flats man is due in court today on a felony charge stemming from a June 8 traffic stop. State Police say troppers pulled over Scott Evanchof on E. Main St. in the Town of Union for riding an unregistered motorcycle. An investigation determined Evanchof’s license was suspended 26 times. He was also found to possess illegal drugs. Evanchof will be in court to answer the felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation charge and the drug possession count.
