A Chenango County Sheriff’s Office investigation into a reported horse theft ends up with their owner facing animal cruelty charges. Deputies were called on Friday to a home in Guilford where the 2 horses were found and a vet examination determined they were not being provided with adequate care and nutrition. The owner identified as Jeffrey Bolster of Sidney surrended custody of the horses and was arraigned then released on his own recognizance.
