A shooting in Norwich ends up with a man facing a felony charge. Police say they responded last Thursday to a Cortland St. residence after a caller said they didn’t feel safe and the suspect identified as Bernie Infante of Norwich fired a shot after officers arrived. Infante tried to escape through a window but was caught before he could get away. He’s charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree which is a class C felony.
