An investigation is under way into the death of an Otsego County jail inmate. According to All Otsego corrections officers found the prisoner unresponsive in his cell late Saturday morning and they performed CPR and other lifesaving measures until paramedics arrive. The inmate was pronounced dead at Bassett Medical Center early Saturday afternoon. The state Attorney General’s Office and the State Commission Of Correction is investigating the death.
