Delhi Police revived a woman who stopped breathing after taking opioids. Officers were called last Saturday to an Elm St., residence where they administered the anti-opioid drug Narcan and she resumed breathing. Paramedics took her to O’Connor Hospital for further treatment. The department reminds the public that New York’s 9-1-1 Good Samarian Law provides protections from charge and prosecution for drug and alcohol possession for the victim and those who seek help during an overdose.
