Charges are filed in a fatal car-pedestrian accident on Tuesday in Cobleskill. Police say the victim identified as James Williams was sitting outside a East Main St. motel when he was run over by a car driven by Raymond George, Jr. George fled the scene but was found about a mile away. An investigation determined Williams and George had a fight before the incident. George is charged with first-degree manslaughter.
