The Oneonta man charged in a October 2020 stabbing appeared in court Monday. Prosecutors say Richard Gantt attacked Logan Kabana of Oneonta at a Halloween party in Unadilla after the two got into a verbal dispute. According to All Otsego Gantt told investigators Kabana made racial remarks which led to the fight but Kabana says Gantt went into a rage after being told by Kabana a party guest was a serial killer and was going after Gantt.
