Springfield Center’s Independence Day Parade Committee announced there will be a parade this year – but it won’t be the same in years past. According to All Otsego the 2021 event will be a drive-through parade taking place from July 1 through July 5. The theme for this year’s event is “Essential America” and the committee says to decorate your home, porch, yard or place of business to thank essential workers, show what you think is most essential about America, or just have fun. Judging takes place July 3.
