Former Baseball Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson is coming back to Cooperstown to serve as interim president. He will succeed Tim Mead who announced his retirement last month. Idelson retired as president in 2019 and was replaced by Mead. The interim role will run through Aug. 15 as the Hall conducts a search for its next President. The search committee includes commissioner Rob Manfred and Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr.
