A fire last Saturday destroyed a cabin near Portlandville. According to All Otsego smoke and fire could be seen through the trees on Route 28 north of Portlandville as the Milford Fire Department responded to the blaze at the end of Fritts Road near the Susquehanna River. There were no reports of any injuries and the fire’s cause remains under investigation.
