19th District Congressman Antonio Delgado announced he will re-introduce legislation to improve stretch limousine safety resulting from the 2018 Schoharie limo crash that killed 20 people. The bills call for additional safety measures including seat belts for all positions and stop stretch limo makers from avoiding federal safety standards. Police say the limo in the 2018 crash had been ordered off the road by the state but it was still in service.
