A state appeals court rules in favor of the City of Oneonta after the plaintiffs in a lawsuit over the Dietz St. Lofts project sought to overturn a judge’s decision tossing the suit. The court found the city’s planning commission did not violate the Public Trust Doctrine and rejected other plaintiff claims as lacking in merit. Mayor Gary Herzig says the court now confirmed the commission carried out its responsibilities in both a professional and diligent manner.
