Alomar Resigns From BHOF Board Of Directors

Former Toronto Blue Jays second basemen Roberto Alomar resigns from the Baseball Hall of Fame Board of Directors after he is banned from the league due to a 2014 sexual misconduct investigation. Alomar was inducted in 2011 and joined the board 2 years ago. Chairman Jane Forbes Clark says Alomar’s plaque will remain on display in recognition of his accomplishments in the game, noting that his enshrinement reflects his eligibility and the perspective of the voters at that time.
