Schoharie County To Use COVID-19 Funding For Expanding EMT Services

Schoharie County lawmakers are using some of the expected $6 million in COVID-19 relief and economic development funding to expand EMT services. According to the Times Journal the county will obtain 3 ambulances and a fly car which is a vehicle that responds to and provides emergency medical services without the ability to transport patients. Once the vehicles are ready the county will initially hire 12 paramedics.
