Amid a shortage of bus drivers the City of Oneonta is now paying a $1,000 bonus for new hires at Oneonta Public Transit. Drivers earn $13.50 – $18.00 per hour for day shifts and $17.50 – $22.00 per hour for night shifts based on experience. Half of the sign-on bonus will be included in the new hire’s first paycheck and the second half upon their six-month anniversary. A Commercial Driver License with a passenger endorsement is required.
