State Senator Peter Oberacker joined with other Senate Republicans in calling for any future opioid settlement funds to be put into a dedicated account to improve and expand treatment and recovery services for New Yorkers struggling with addiction. The state was awarded over $32 million as part of a settlement with opioid drug maker McKinsey & Company.
