New York’s annual “No Empty Chair” traffic education and enforcement initiative kicked off on Monday. According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention car crashes are higher among drivers 16 to 19 with teens 3 times more likely to be in a fatal collision than those over 20. All week law enforcement agencies are focusing on a different aspect of driver safety plus increasing patrols on roads around high schools.
