The New York State Fair is back for 2021 but it will look a lot different due to COVID-19. Daily admission is planned to be limited to approximately 50% of capacity in the areas available for attendees to allow for social distancing. Other changes including asking those buying food and drinks will be asked to sit and all surfaces of frequent customer contact will be rigorously and frequently cleaned and sanitized. The Fair opens Aug. 20 and runs through Sept. 6.
