Now that New Yorkers ages 16 and older are qualified to get a COVID-19 shot the state kicked off its “Roll Up Your Sleeve” Campaign” to encourage those elegible to sign up for a vaccination appointment. Officials say since demand for vaccine still outstrips supply New Yorkers are encouraged to remain patient and are advised not to show up at vaccination sites without an appointment. As of right now, people 16 and 17 years of age can only receive the Pfizer vaccine.
