New York is implemnting a program to get the COVID-19 vaccine administered to workers at farms and food production companies. Officials are coordinating with local health departments and Federally Qualified Health Centers to bring pop-up vaccination sites to workers at their places of employment. Migrant workers will be eligible for the vaccine. The program is a way to get the vaccine into some of the state’s more rural areas.
