The Otsego County Department of Health reports there’s been more than 210 new COVID-19 cases over the past week. Public Health Director Heidi Bond says while COVID-19 vaccination is well underway there is still a long way to go to reach herd immunity. Bond says one-third of county residents have received at least one vaccine dose. She says the public still needs to wear masks, wash hands and practice social distancing whether or not an individual is vaccinated.
