Oneontans lose a longstanding bowling facility after fire destroyed Holiday Lanes early on Friday. Crews from 20 fire companies responded and a number of water tankers were called in due to no municipal water near the facility’s location on Route 23. Holiday reopened last September when New York lifted restrictions due to COVID-19. The fire’s cause is under investigation and the owner told WKTV he’s not sure if he can afford to rebuild the facility.
