An assault at a Middlefield home leaves one person hospitalized and another taken into custody. Police say it happened last Saturday when Timothy Moore of Middlefield hit the victim multiple times using a table leg. Paramedics took the victim to Bassett Medical Center to treat an arm injury. Moore is charged with 2 counts of assault, one count of menacing and one count of harrassment. He was released on his own recognizance pending a date in Middletown Court.
