The Otsego County Department of Health reports the 56th death due to coronavirus-related complications. The department didn’t release information on the individual’s gender or age. In 2021 there have been 37 deaths. 138 COVID-19 cases are active with 9 people hospitalized. New York is pausing use of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccing while an investigation proceeds into blood clots occurring 6 to 13 days after the shot is administered.
