The City of Oneonta is installing a new fire hydrant on Richmond Ave. today. In order to make the hydrant connection, a temporary water outage lasting several hours will occur affecting residents north of Bronk St. Officials say once service is restored run all cold water faucets for a few minutes to allow any discolored water to dissipate.
