The Otsego County Department of Health reports a steady increase in new COVID-19 cases over the past week. Nearly 150 new cases were reported since last Monday and over the past 10 days 47% of the newly reported cases are in college students/employees. Officials say it remains extremely important to practice the public health prevention measures such as wearing a mask, washing hands, social distancing and minimizing social gatherings.
