Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputy Cpl. Eric Alexander is named Deputy of the Year during Monday’s employee awards ceremony. Alexander helped arrest a Franklin man for animal abuse and was involved in a lifesaving effort last September. Deputy Paul Moore received the Corrections Officer of the year Award for aiding another officer who was choking.
