Windsor Virtual students received a surprise from fellow in-person classmates as part of celebrating school Kindness Week. Palmer Elementary staff and in-person students made cards and posters and took photos of themselves holding them up. They then delivered them to all 31 of the school’s fully remote students. School Counselor Sandra Tredo, says the effort helped bridge the gap and possible isolation encountered by remote students. Tredo says students, whether they’re in the classroom or at home, need tofeel like they’re part of a community and cared for.
