Chenango County Public Health reported 6 additional deaths attributed to COVID-19. Officials say as a point of clarification, not all of these residents passed the same day but they confirmed the causes of death last Friday. There are now 45 coronavirus-related deaths. On Monday a lighted ribbon was placed on the County Office Building in Norwich to commemorate those residents lost to the coronavirus over the past year and it will remain there all this month.
