State Assemblyman Joe Angelino wants an investigation to be done into the recent Attorney General’s report that found the number of COVID-19 related deaths that happened in nursing homes were undercounting. The report found numbers were underreported by as much as 50%. Angelino is a member of the Committee on Oversight, Analysis and Investigation and says the Assembly must use its subpoena power to thoroughly investigate what he characterized as “a great tragedy in the state”.
