Cooperstown Central Schools names Sarah Spross as the new district superintendent. According to All Otsego Spross comes to Cooperstown from the State of Maryland Department of Education where she is an assistant superintendent. She success William Crankshaw who left last summer to become superintendent of the Greater Johnstown School District. Spross is a Dutchess County native and has been an educator for more than a quarter-century. Her start date is to be no later than March 1.
