COVID-19 and social injustice were among the topics covered by Gov. Andrew Cuomo in his State of the State address on Monday. Cuomo said the coronavirus has residents hurt, frustrated and anxious over the many hardships and mourning the lives taken in the past year. State Senator Peter Oberacker issued a statement saying the state needs to reset the economy, assist small businesses and ensure local governments and schools are able to provide needed services without raising taxes.
