52nd District State Senator Fred Akshar launched an online petition calling for Governor Cuomo and state lawmakers to not eliminate a $400 million middle-class tax cut which Cuomo proposed to do in his executive budget as a way to help bridge a $15 billion deficit. Akshar says the middle class needs relief and financial peace of mind but Governor Cuomo’s budget proposal does the exact opposite. Constituents can access the petition at akshar.nysenate.gov.
