Guilty Plea In Norwich Drug Raid

One of the two suspects in a 2018 Norwich drug investigation takes a plea deal. Prosecutors say Corey Weidman pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Police found crystal methamphetamine, maijuana and cocaine along with other narcotics at an E. Main St. apartment along with over $35,000 in cash plus a handgun. Weidman’s sentencing is set for late November.
