A private ribbon cutting ceremony takes place this afternoon for the New Berlin firehouse and Chobani Community Center. According to the Evening Sun the project took 2 years to complete and is paid for by private donations and state funding. The 6-bay firehouse replaces the one built 40 years ago. In the community center there is a a kitchen area and large gathering space to be used by the fire department along with local residents and businesses.
