The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office reports the death of Deputy Timothy Hess. He began his career with the Sheriff’s Office and most recently was a part-time deputy along with being a University Police Captain.He was 57. A memorial service will he held on Saturday. Suspect Arrested-On Unadilla & Otego SexualAssault Charges

A man claiming to be a firefighter now faces multiple charges in a Unadilla attempted sexual assault last Friday. Police say the man also injured the vicitim which required an overnight hospital stay. The same man is also charged in an Otego sexual assault. NY Gas Prices Hit Record Highs

New York’s average gas price hits a new record high according to Triple-A at $4.37 a gallon. Otsego and Chenango Counties aren’t far behind at $4.35 while Delaware County is at $4.33. The Susquehanna SPCA is collecting donations to help Ukranian animal shelters. According to All Otsego the Cooperstown organization made the decision after being asked by the public about providing relief to animals, their owners, and animal shelters. 16th COVID-19-Related Death For ’22 In Otsego County

The Otsego County Health Department reports another individual died from COVID-19 complications. There’s been 16 deaths so far this year and 111 since the pandemic began. 10 new COVID-19 cases were reported with the 7-day positivity rate at 2.2%.
