NY To Rename Highway For Assemblyman Magee

A section of State Route 13 will be renamed in honor of Assemblyman Bill Magee who died last December. Magee was sworn into the New York State Assembly in 1990, representing Madison County and parts of Otsego and Oneida Counties. The section of highway will be in Madison County. Wenck Named Milford Schools Interim Superintendent

Romona Wenck is the new interim superintendent for Milford Central Schools. According to All Otsego she was appointed to the role early last month. Wenck served as Laurens superintendent for 23 years and retired in 2020. Last October she became interim superintendent for Cooperstown schools until the district hired Sarah Spross this spring. DCSO Corrections Division Receives Accredidation

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division received accreditation from the New York state Sheriff’s Association, This means all divisions of the Sheriff’s Office are full yand completely accredited.
