SUNY Oneonta Sociology Professor Tyler Dupont has published a book titled “Lifestyle Sports and Identities: Subcultural Careers Through the Life Course.” It explores how gender, sexuality, ethnicity, and location, in conjunction with age and stage in career, affect lifestyle sport practices and meanings. The book was co-written with professor Becky Beal at California State University, East Bay and is available for pre-order with a shipping date of Aug. 6.
