State Attorney General Leticia James is being asked to review the 2020 Census data that resulted in New York losing one Congressional representative. Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a statement blaming the Trump administration for the counting shortfall. The governor wants James to determine the state’s legal options for challenging the data. As of right now New York will go from 27 congressional districts to 26 in 2020.
