Otsego County’s annual Hazardous Waste Collection Events are scheduled for Aug. 20 in Unadilla and Aug. 21 in Cooperstown. The Unadilla event is from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. for residents, while the Cooperstown even begins at 8:00 a.m. For the Cooperstown event you are asked to arrive according to the first initial of your last name with A thru H between 8:00 am and 9:30 am, I thru Q, 9:30 am to 11:30 and R thru Z between 11:30 and 1 pm.
