A SUNY Oneonta History Department assistant professor wins a research award prize. Dr. Susan Goodier was selected for a competitive 2020 Carrie Chapman Catt Prize for Research on Women and Politics for her project, “Networks of Activism: Black Women in the Women’s Rights Movement in New York.” The prize comes with a $2,000 cash award which Dr. Goodier says she will use this summer to visit Howard University, the Library of Congress, and a private collection in Washington, D.C.
