Susquehanna SPCA Surpasses Its Capital Matching Goal

The Susquehanna SPCA announces it has more than met its goal for a $100,000 matching contribution from the C.J. Heilig Foundation. The challenge was made last month and called for the shelter to raise at least $100,000 but the total turned out to be just under $130,000. The total will go toward the SHELTER US capital campaign which is funding construction of a new facility on State Route 28 north of their current location. The new shelter is expected to open next summer.
