DCSO Deputies Now have Body Cameras

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office implements a body worn camera program and all deputies are now equipped with the technology. Sheriff Craig DuMond says the program will help protect the integrity of the Deputy, the Sheriff’s Office and provide the public with the transparency they deserve. Body-worn cameras are used in the prosecution of criminal cases by supplementing court testimony with audio and video evidence associated with an incident. They can also aid in the investigation into complaints made against officers.
