Cooperstown’s Granstand Theater Reopens

The Baseball Hall of Fame’s Grandstand Theater is back open following a extensive remodeling. Among the upgrades are cushioned seats to replace the former wooden benches, new video screens and a high-tech sound system. Grants from the Scriven Foundation and the Clark Foundation paid for the 189-seat-theater’s renovations. The theater is now showing a film titled “Generations of the Game.” It features Hall of Famers, other players and broadcasters reflecting on what what baseball and the Hall means to them.
