Lawmakers Consider Textalyzer Bill

Law enforcement agencies in New York may have a new tool in their arsenal to detect if a driver was texting behind the wheel.

The device called a textalyzer is connected to a cell phone and provide police officers information on when the user was making phone calls along with texting and e-mails.

A bill legalizing the device has made it out of one state senate committee and is still being considered in the House.
