Dairy Farmer Spills Milk Because Of Storm

A Chenango County dairy farmer had to dump nearly 375.000 tons of milk because of last week’s blizzard which stopped deliveries to creameries.

Frank VanAlthuis of Sherburne tells a local TV station he has 300 cows on his farm and some of his workers couldn’t make it in which made it more challenging for those who did make it to the farm.

VanAlthuis says the same snow that clogged the roads also clogged the tractor paths in his farmland making it hard to get around.
