Donations Needed For Shelter Repairs

Repairs continue at the Susquehanna Animal Shelter in Cooperstown following weekend flooding.

According to local TV the flood in the isolation building happened after the shelter closed at 5pm Saturday and was discovered by workers the next morning who found the bank by a nearby creek washed away.

No animals were hurt according to shelter officials but there was thousands of dollars in damage and donations are being accepted to pay for repairs to the creek bank.
