Polar Bear Jump In The Books

Mother Nature did her part to make things a little less “polar” for Saturday’s 22nd annual Goodyear Lake Polar Bear Jump.

A local TV station says around 300 people turned out to jump into Goodyear Lake to raise money for 10 local families with sick children.

After everyone had a chance to warm up a banquet was held Saturday evening to thank the sponsors, those who took the plunge, and to present the ten families with checks.

Last year’s jump raised over $80,000.
